Green Seal announces that the proposed Environmental Standard for Recycled Content Latex Paint will be finalized late this summer.
This proposed Standard seeks to ensure that the environmental, safety, and performance characteristics of recycled content paint would be consistent
with those found in virgin paints for a given category.
Public comments from stakeholders were submitted up until May 31, 2006. Green Seal is currently addressing the issues of the stakeholders,
incorporate significant revisions into the standard and attempting to resolve any outstanding issues.
Final release of the Recycled Content Latex Paint Standard is expected late
summer, 2006.
